Forgiveness ISN'T optional in the Kingdom of God. Unforgiveness is like a cancer in our heart. Unforgiveness leads to stress, bitterness, resentment, depression, anxiety, worry and all tyoes of sickness. We must keep and guard our hearts from unforgiveness. Keep your heart with all diligence, For out of it spring the issues of life. Proverbs 4:23 We can't wait on a certain feeling to forgive, we must be led by obedience to the Word. We must stop reacting to emotions and begin responding to God. As children of God we are called to walk by faith and not our feelings. When we step out in faith and obedience to forgive others God will bring about the feeling in His time. Emotions will follow our obedience to God. Just as we have freely received the forgiveness of our sins. We MUST freely forgive others.
