Father is a Good Listener!

Many times in our walk with God we find ourselves in times of waiting. It is easy in the wait to begin doubting the love, care, provision and power of God. The enemy whispers,  "God never heard your prayer. God doesn't listen to you. God doesn't care about you."       I want to encourage you today Father is a good listener. Father does hear. He is listening. He loves you and is concerned about you.   Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him. I John 5:14‭-‬15 NKJV We can be confident in the care, the love and the ability of God to listen.   God has heard your prayer. He has heard and seen your tears. The delay is not a denial. Hold on in the wait. Don't quit believing. You may feel ignored or overlooked in your situation. Father sees you. Father is reaching for y

Waiting.......

Waiting is a part of life. We all have a choice to wait wisely or foolishly. The wise understand that waiting isn't a passive but active activity. We don't wait passively but rather we are passionately pursuing the promises of God. If you are waiting on God right now you need to realize you are in good company Joseph, Moses, Abraham, and even Jesus waited. In your wait don't sit on the side line, get in the game, go after God, believe, expect, and prepare for God to show up and bring the answer you need.

Father is a Good Giver!

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning. James 1:17  Every good and perfect gift comes from Father.  And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever— John 14:16 NKJV Father gives help. Jesus says, He will pray and the Father will send us the Helper (Holy Spirit).  You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you. John 15:16 NKJV Whatever we ask in the name of Jesus, Father will give us.  If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him! Matthew 7:11 NKJV If our earthly father knows how to give how much more will our Heavenly Father give

All the Members of that One Body!

For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ. I Corinthians 12:12 NKJV For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function, so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another. Romans 12:4‭-‬5 NKJV Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief corner stone,  in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit. Ephesians 2:19‭-‬22 NKJV 1. “…Be at peace with each other.” (Mark 9:50) 2. “…Wash one another’s feet.” (John 13:14) 3. “…Love one another…” (John 13:34) 4. “…Love one another…” (John 13:34) 5. “…

Saved by the GRACE of a Mighty Savior!

"Rise up, you have been saved by the grace of a mighty Savior!" For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it  is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:8‭-‬10 Many times when we think of the grace of God we think of a mere attitude of God. But grace is much more than a attitude. Grace is a action of God on our behalf. Grace is the very foundation of the story of redemption. Grace in action loves the unlovable. Grace in action dies on a cross so others can live. Grace in action leaves a tomb empty while He fills the empty soul. Grace in action lights the darkness. Grace in actions lifts the downcast, weary, and broken. Grace in action holds us up, hold us together, and never leaves us, fails us or forsakes us. Grace in action causes what once was a stumbling block

The Name, The Blood, The Love of Jesus!

I am thankful for the Name, the Blood, and the Love of Jesus. Come on, somebody ought to shout over the title of today's post. Where would we be if it wasn't for the Name, the Blood, and the Love of Jesus! Think about that for minute. Think of the time He saved, filled and healed you. Think of how faithful He has been to bring you through life's storms. Times where all hell was breaking loose but He kept you, He held you, and He protected, and redeemed you from destruction. This post is to remind you to be thankful and to grow in confidence in all three of these foundational truths. 1. The authority of the Name of Jesus. (John 14:13-14, Mark 16:15-18.) In the Name of Jesus there is Power and Authority to save, forgive sins, heal, make whole, and perform miracles. 2. The Blood of Jesus that cleanses us from all sin. Grants us access into fellowship, communion, and intimacy with God. (1 John 1:7 ) My goodness the blood is the high price that was paid for you,

But By His Grace!

But by the grace of God I am what I am... I Corinthians 15:10 Grace- God's undeserved, unmerited, and unearned supernatural favor, goodness and love towards us. Grace is not a mere attitude of God. Grace is His action towards us. Grace is God's handiwork in our life. Grace is God's signature on our life. Because of God's grace, His action of grace. We are enpowered, and enabled to walk in holiness. God's action of grace has led us and propelled us to action for God. By Grace, through faith. We are, because He is. It is only By His grace! God didn't call you because you are all that, but because He is all that. Everything we are, is because HE is!! We are called because, HE is FAITHFUL! We are loved because, HE is LOVE! We are powerful because, HE is ALL POWERFUL! We are light because, He is the LIGHT OF THE WORLD! We are holy, because HE is HOLY! We are righteous. because HE is RIGHTEOUSNESS! We are overflow because He is the LIV

Cultivating a Attitude of Gratitude!

Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 NLT Father,  I pray that everyone who reads this post will begin cultivating a attitude of gratitude! Lord no matter how dark or bad the circumstances we are in, seem to be help us, to see Your goodness and faithfulness,  In the Name of Jesus Amen!  Five simple and practical ways  to become more thankful and cultivate a attitude of gratitude. 1. Think about the Lord. Think about good things. The Bible says as a man thinks so is he. When we set on our mind on God and the things of God. Our thinking and attitude begins to shift towards God and His character rather than the world and our circumstances. In my post  Giving Thanks in Fiery Trials  learn why we should give God thanks even in the midst of fiery trials.   And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lo

Seven Blessings of having a Close Relationship with Jesus Christ!

Come close to God, and God will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; purify your hearts, for your loyalty is divided between God and the world. James 4:8 NLT Seven blessings of having a close relationship with Jesus. 1. Cleansing from sin I John 1:9 NKJV If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 2. Strength for our weakness II Corinthians 12:9 NKJV And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 3. Fulfilled satisfied Matthew 5:6 NKJV Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, For they shall be filled. 4. Passion to reach the lost Acts 20:24 NKJV But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I receiv
