We can choose different friends, differnet colleges, etc. But we must all choose Jesus it's in Jesus that we find the path of life. Every day 51.1 million pictures are taken, there are 3 billion photo taken during the November and December holidays. There are hundreds of social networks where people post pictures of their families, vacations, birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, and other special occasions. The number one reason being they want to remember these special times. I believe the stumblingblock that needs to be removed is pride. Many translations use the word obstruction or obstacle. Pride is the stumblingblock, obstruction that stands between us and God. Pride hinders us from true REVIVAL! Pride is a haughty attitude, selfish ambition, lustful fleshly mindset. Pride causes you to be self centered rather than Christ centered. Pride was the sin that caused satan and 1/3 of the angels to be cast out of heaven. Pride whispers in your ear you don't need God. You can do this yourself. What does 1 John say about LOVE? 1 John 2:5 5 But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him. Those who have a mature love for God, keep the Word in their heart and mind. They are not consumed with the world but rather the Word. 1 John 2:10 10 He who loves his brother abides in the light, and there is no cause for stumbling in him. When we love others, God keeps us from falling in our walk with Him. 1 John 2:15 15 Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. We can't love the Father and the world at the same time. Who or what do you love? 1 John 3:1 1 Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. God has and continues to pour out His love to us daily. He loves us and calls us His children. 1 John 3:10
