A few things the Bible says about ANGER!

1:19 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath: 1:20 For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God. 1:21 Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.
James 1:19-21

4:26 Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:
Ephesians 4:26

19:11 The discretion of a man maketh him slow to anger; And it is his glory to pass over a transgression.
Proverbs 19:11

6:32 [He that is] slow to anger [is] better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city.
Proverbs 16:32

4:31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: 4:32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.
Ephesians 4:31-32

God's plan of dealing with anger is really very simple FORGIVENESS.You have to forgive the people that have hurt you and caused pain in your life. Whether they ask you to forgive them or not.Next you must repent and receive the forgiveness that God has extended to you through his mercy. You must forgive yourself. You must ask forgiveness from the ones you've hurt in your outbursts of anger.Forgiveness will release the power of God to heal those broken reationships in your life.PRAY FOR GRACE DURING THIS PROCESS TO ALLOW YOU TO FORGIVE AS CHRIST AS FORGIVEN YOU.

If we do not deal with the seeds of anger in our life it will be as though we are ingesting poison into our bodies. Without forgiving others our lifes will be in complete turmoil. We think that when we forgive we're only releasing the other person but really we are being released also. If you feel weighed down and as though you're carrying a load. That load may be unforgiveness towards someone. Begin to ask God to reveal to you your heart in this area ask Him to shine the light of His Word in your heart. I promise where there is anger there is also unforgiveness.

I believe the key to being able to forgive others is realizing that your sins have been forgiven through the cross of our Lord Jesus. You deserved death the Bible says the wages of sin is death but the free gift of God eternal life through Jesus Christ. Can't you extend the same forgiveness to others as Christ has shown you.

Lord I repent of anger and allowing it to control my life at times rather than yielding to your Spirit in my life. Father help us to walk as Jesus walked. Help us to extend mercy, forgiveness, compassion and walk in humility as Jesus. Lord fill our minds and hearts with your Word.Father I thank you for being our HELPER. Lord I love you and thank your for your mercy. 3:21 This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope. 3:22 [It is of] the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. 3:23 [They are] new every morning: great [is] thy faithfulness.
Lamentations 3:21-23

In Jesus name AMEN.
