Remembering Jesus

Every day 51.1 million pictures are taken, there are 3 billion photo taken during the November and December holidays. There are hundreds of social networks where people post pictures of their families, vacations, birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, and other special occasions. The number one reason being they want to remember these special times. I wonder what are we doing to REMEMBER JESUS!

2 Timothy 2:8 NLT

Always REMEMBER that Jesus Christ a descendant of King David was raised from the dead. This is the good news I preach.

Stop reading this post and take the time just to reflect and think about the sacrifice Jesus paid for us on the cross and the power He displayed in the resurrection.

5:11 And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands; 5:12 Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.

Jesus Christ is worthy of our REMEMBRANCE, He has done more for us than anyone in the whole world. He deserves our worship, and praise.

It's very easy for us to get so busy in our lives that we do not even pray, read our Bibles, or spend time just thinking and remembering Jesus. We have to purpose in our hearts daily to think about and remember Jesus Christ. Many times we would not be so burden downed and depressed if we took the time to Remember Jesus!

103:1 <[A Psalm] of David.> Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, [bless] his holy name. 103:2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: 103:3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; 103:4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneththee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; 103:5 Who satisfieth thy mouth with good [things; so that] thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.

Let's purpose in our hearts to not forget but Remember Jesus Christ and all His benefits. Jesus suffered and die a shameful death on the cross for you and I surely He is more than worthy of our time.

11:24 And when he had given thanks, he brake [it], and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me. 11:25 After the same manner also [he took] the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink [it], in remembrance of me. 11:26 For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come.

Take the time and commune with King Jesus, think about His body that was broken for you, and the blood that He shed for you.

Father Lord, I love You and thank You, for all you have done for us, Help us, give us the grace we need to purpose in our hearts, to always Remember You, Help us to remember you in the good and bad times of our life. Help us to remember that you are a good God that loves and cares for our every need in Jesus name!
