Pursuing the Peace of God

1 Peter 3:11 .....let him seek peace and pursue it.

Many times in the midst of the storms we face, the natural thing to do is worry. The natural thing to do is doubt. The natural thing is do is to be frustrated.

God hasn't called us to walk in the natural but He is calling us to walk in the supernatural.

God is calling us to walk by faith and not by sight.

I want to share with you briefly six practical ways that by faith you can pursue the peace of God.

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are  noble, whatever things are  just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are  lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there  is any virtue and if there  is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.
Philippians 4:6‭-‬9

Bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must  do.  But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
Colossians 3:13‭-‬16 NKJV

1. Prayer

2. Thanksgiving

By faith. we  know that Jesus Christ has already purchased our peace through His life, death, burial, and resurrection.

By faith, we know that Jesus is the Prince of Peace.

By faith, Jesus can step into your storm and declare peace.

Seek the God of peace. By faith, through, prayer, thanksgiving, mediating on good things, the Word of God, worship, by forgiving yourself/ others and letting go of your  past, and the God of Peace will guard your heart and mind and you will experience peace like a river.
