Return to the Lord!

Hoses 6:1-3  Come, and let us return to the Lord ; For He has torn, but He will heal us; He has stricken, but He will bind us up. After two days He will revive us; On the third day He will raise us up, That we may live in His sight. Let us know, Let us pursue the knowledge of the Lord . His going forth is established as the morning; He will come to us like the rain, Like the latter and former rain to the earth.

God's Word, plans, purposes, times, and promises are established, certain, and sure.

James 5:7-11 Therefore be patient, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, waiting patiently for it until it receives the early and latter rain. You also be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand. Do not grumble against one another, brethren, lest you be condemned. Behold, the Judge is standing at the door! My brethren, take the prophets, who spoke in the name of the Lord, as an example of suffering and patience. Indeed we count them blessed who endure. You have heard of the perseverance of Job and seen the end intended  by the Lord—that the Lord is very compassionate and merciful.

We must become more and more established, certain, and sure of God's Word, plans, purposes, times, and promises.

There is a clear warning for the Church to stop grumbling, arguing, and complaining with one another and also the world. I challenge you to push away from the arguments and debates of the world and press into the Word of the Lord. Turn away from the TV, social media, and worldly  entertainment.  Seek God! Pursue God! Go after the knowledge of God!
