Jesus is our ever present Savior

Matthew 1:21-23 And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus , for He will save His people from their sins.” So all this was done that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying: “Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which is translated, “God with us.”

Two simple reminders for you this Christmas.

1. Jesus came to rescue you from your sin. He came to destroy the power of sin over your life. If you find yourself weighed down with sin and the burdens of life this Christmas season. Come to Jesus in faith and ask Him to be your Savior and rescue you out of your sins.  You can be sure, He will save and rescue you. This is His purpose in coming to earth.

2. Immanuel God is with you. I know for many the Holidays can be a painful or depressing because they are reminded of loved ones who have passed. If this is you be encouraged that the Creator of heaven and earth is with you. The God of all hope, joy, peace, and power is near to the broken hearted. He loves you and wanted me to remind you through this post  that He is our ever present help in times of hurt and pain.
I pray that you will encounter Jesus as the One who is mighty to save and the One who is promised to never leave, fail, or forsake us this year for Christmas.

God bless, and to all a Merry Christmas!
