"Secret to Godliness"
And without controversy great is the mystery (Secret) of godliness (goodness): God was manifested in the flesh, Justified in the Spirit, Seen by angels, Preached among the Gentiles, Believed on in the world, Received up in glory.
I Timothy 3:16 NKJV
The mystery, the secret, the thing God wants to show you is simply Jesus Christ. Jesus is the secret to godliness. It is because He came in the flesh we can be godly. It is because He did mighty miracles through the Holy Spirit. It is because the same Spirit that rose Him from the grave now dwells in us so we can live godly. Because He was seen by angels and over 500 men after His resurrection that we can walk in godliness. It is because the Gospel of Jesus Christ is the power of God unto Salvation, that we can live godly lives. It is because just as Jesus was received up into glory so will we at His return that we live and walk in godliness.
The mystery (revealed secret) which has been hidden from ages and from generations, but now has been revealed to His saints. To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
