And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ DOCTRINE and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers. Then fear came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were done through the apostles.
Acts 2:42‭-‬43 NKJV

The early churches stedfast commitment to the apostles doctrine brought about Godly fear, miracles, signs and wonders.  Verse 47 of this same chapter also says that the church was being added to daily those who were being saved.

Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity. Till I come, give attention to reading, to exhortation, to DOCTRINE . Do not neglect the gift that is in you, which was given to you by prophecy with the laying on of the hands of the eldership. Meditate on these things; give yourself entirely to them, that your progress may be evident to all. Take heed to yourself and to the DOCTRINE . Continue in them, for in doing this you will save both yourself and those who hear you.
I Timothy 4:12‭-‬16 NKJV

Paul told young Timothy give attention to and focus on and continue in doctrine. Paul told him in doing so he would save himself and others.

All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for DOCTRINE, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work. II Timothy 3:16‭-‬17 NKJV

Doctrine completes and thoroughly equips the people of God to do the work of God.
