Revival according to the Word!

Will You not revive us again, That Your people may rejoice in You?
Psalms 85:6

I want to start off by saying YES God will bring REVIVAL in the church that stands in faith, repentance, humility and in a place of desperation.

Revival will always bring about rejoicing with joy unspeakable and full of glory in the people of God.

My soul clings to the dust; Revive me according to Your word.
Psalms 119:25

We must desire biblical revival. There are many things in the church that are labeled revival (there is a fire from God but there is also false or strange fire from satan and the imagination of men) it has nothing to do with the word of God. Biblical revival will ALWAYS be God stamped with Biblical repentance and life change.

Turn away my eyes from looking at worthless things, And revive me in Your way.
Psalms 119:37 NKJV

Revival will break the power of the flesh in our life and lead us to crucify out flesh (turn away from this world lust of the flesh, pride of life, lust of the eyes) and begin living and walking in the Spirit. People in revival don't just talk about the presence of God but the daily encounter the presence of God.

Behold, I long for Your precepts; Revive me in Your righteousness.
Psalms 119:40

Revival is always preceded with a longing, hungering, and thirsting after the righteousness of God. see Matthew 5:6

I am afflicted very much; Revive me, O Lord , according to Your word.
Psams 119:107

Most of the time before a great outpouring of Revival there will a time of great persecution, trial, and even temptation. I encourage you to stand strong in your affliction and use this time to run to God and not away from Him.

Hear my voice according to Your lovingkindness; O Lord , revive me according to Your justice.
Psalms  119:149

We must be confident in the love of God. We must know and be assured that God heard and answers all those who call upon His name. Remember that we love God because He first loved us. He desires for us to experience revival even more than we desire revival.

Plead my cause and redeem me; Revive me according to Your word.
Psalms 119:154

Revival will always bring about the redemption of the one and the multitudes. Jesus went to the cross for the whole world and it is His will that all come to repentance in order to be redeemed.

Great are Your tender mercies, O Lord ; Revive me according to Your judgments.
Psalms 119:156

Without the grace and mercy of God there will be no salvation or revival. Apart from the mercy of God we would all be consumed not with the revival fire of God but the very fire of His holiness. see Lamentations 3:23

Consider how I love Your precepts; Revive me, O Lord , according to Your lovingkindness.
Psalms 119:159 NKJV

Remember God loved us first, and He desires Revival for us more than we desire it...But this love should drive us to love the Word and prayer. Love for the Word and prayer will always bring about personal revival and corporate revival see Nehemiah

Then we will not turn back from You; Revive us, and we will call upon Your name.
Psalms  80:18

Real revival fire is like an uncontrolable wildfire that can not be easily extinguished. Real revival will always be marked by perseverance of the saints. Revival will also bring a revelation of the name of Jesus to be our Savior, Healer, Baptizer, and Soon coming King.

Revive me according to Your lovingkindness, So that I may keep the testimony of Your mouth.
Psalms 119:88 NKJV

Revival will cause us not just to know the everlasting, unchanging, enduring, and merciful testimony of God. But our words, our actions, and our lives will reflect all of these characteristics. When people see us they see the testimony and glory of God in and through us. Revival cause us to share our faith, reach the lost, and evangelize like we have never done or even seen before. His testimony will be our testimony.

For thus says the High and Lofty One Who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: “I dwell in the high and holy place, With him who has a contrite and humble spirit, To revive the spirit of the humble, And to revive the heart of the contrite ones.
Isaiah 57:15 NKJV

This verse was makes me just say WOW! The wow factor of Revival is the fact that God brings it to the humble, the contrite and broken. He doesn't come to those who think they have it all figured out with the best programs, and best leadership seminars but rather the ones who are desperate and know they can't do anything with out God. The one who dwells in eternity is inviting the humble into revival. Beloved Revival always follows humility.

Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You will revive me; You will stretch out Your hand Against the wrath of my enemies, And Your right hand will save me.
Psalms 138:7 NKJV

No amount of trouble, no amount of haters, can keep the hand of the Lord from bringing revival to us, our families, our ministries and our land. Beloved be confident in the fact that the work God has begun He will finish. God has promised to perfect that which He has started. Don't stop believing and Don't stop praying for the Lord to bring Revival in these last days. He has promised to not only bring the former but the latter. I  believe we are on the verge of the greatest revival the church has ever seen.

Love you and God bless you in the mighty name of Jesus!
