The Name, The Blood, The Love of Jesus!

I am thankful for the Name, the Blood, and the Love of Jesus. Come on, somebody ought to shout over the title of today's post.

Where would we be if it wasn't for the Name, the Blood, and the Love of Jesus! Think about that for minute. Think of the time He saved, filled and healed you. Think of how faithful He has been to bring you through life's storms. Times where all hell was breaking loose but He kept you, He held you, and He protected, and redeemed you from destruction.

This post is to remind you to be thankful and to grow in confidence in all three of these foundational truths.

1. The authority of the Name of Jesus.
(John 14:13-14, Mark 16:15-18.) In the Name of Jesus there is Power and Authority to save, forgive sins, heal, make whole, and perform miracles.

2. The Blood of Jesus that cleanses us from all sin. Grants us access into fellowship, communion, and intimacy with God. (1 John 1:7 ) My goodness the blood is the high price that was paid for you, to even have access to the Name of Jesus. Without the blood we might as well call on the name of Tom, Bob, or George when we are in trouble. But because of the blood we have been granted full access into to the power of God.

3. The Father's love and His desire to release His power, presence, promises, and provision in the earth. (1 John 3:1, Matthew  6:9-10) There is no stronger force in heaven or earth than the love of God. It is the love that held Jesus on the cross. It is love that led the King of Glory to leave heaven and to be born as a baby in a manger. Love has been the driving force of God's story of redemption throughout the Bible. While we were sinners Christ died for us and manifested His great love towards us on the cross.

I know these all are foundational and basic principles for the Christian life. But if/when you find yourself struggling in your walk with God.Many times you have become ungrateful for these truths or you have began to doubt God in one or possibly a couple of these. If you seem stuck in a rut, or complacent in your life. I challenge you to reflect on the Name, the Blood, and the Love of Jesus! Think about how He saved you, filled you and healed you. Mediate on His goodness and faithfulness. I encourage you pray and ask God to give you a greater understanding and revelation in these three areas.

Father I pray in the name of Jesus that you would help those who have found themselves in a place of being ungrateful, doubtful or complacency towards You. Lord ignite, revive, and refresh them in their walk with You. Show them Your love, manifest Your awesome power in their life in Jesus name!
