Five Ways to Experience Freedom in Suffering!

Five truths to help every believer find freedom in the suffering we face in our daily lives. 1. Don't be caught off guard with suffering. Don't be surprised with suffering. As long as we live in this mortal body we will experience suffering. We Christians we should Know that it is coming, but also be assured that Jesus has overcome this world. 1Peter 4:12-13 Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial (suffering) which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you; but rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ’s sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy. John 15:18-20 “If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you.  If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.  Remember the word that I said to you, ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If t...

Jesus is our ever present Savior

Matthew 1:21-23 And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus , for He will save His people from their sins .” So all this was done that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying: “Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel ,” which is translated, “ God with us .” Two simple reminders for you this Christmas. 1. Jesus came to rescue you from your sin. He came to destroy the power of sin over your life. If you find yourself weighed down with sin and the burdens of life this Christmas season. Come to Jesus in faith and ask Him to be your Savior and rescue you out of your sins.  You can be sure, He will save and rescue you. This is His purpose in coming to earth. 2. Immanuel God is with you. I know for many the Holidays can be a painful or depressing because they are reminded of loved ones who have passed. If this is you be encouraged that the Creator of heaven and ...

Yesterday's experiences can't get you through today's wilderness!

Check out this video of a sermon I preached from 1 Corinthians 10:1-13 titled "Don't be destroyed in the wilderness"

Think about Jesus!

Many today would be free from anxiety and depression if you made Jesus Lord (Ruler,Master) of your thought life. #thinkaboutJesus 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 YLT For the weapons of our warfare [are] not fleshly, but powerful to God for bringing down of strongholds, reasonings bringing down, and every high thing lifted up against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of the Christ. Isaiah 26:3 NLT You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you! I encourage you today to fill your heart, mind, soul and spirit with the Word of God. Read the Word, pray the Word, sing (for some of us that means quietly lol ) the Word, speak (over yourself, family, and those around you) the Word, and write (journal, put sticky notes in your car, home) the Word. Maybe you are reading this and do not know where to start reading in the Bible, check out Phillipians 4:4-9. God bless!

Don't give up! Press on!

"Don't give up, Don't go back, Press on"  Matthew 26:66-70 What do you think?” They answered and said, “He is deserving of death.” Then they spat in His face and beat Him; and others struck Him with the palms of their hands, saying, “Prophesy to us, Christ! Who is the one who struck You?” Now Peter sat outside in the courtyard. And a servant girl came to him, saying, “You also were with Jesus of Galilee.” But he denied it before them all, saying, “I do not know what you are saying.” No matter the circumstances you are facing right now don't give up, Don't go back, but press on! In the midst of being stripped of his clothes, beaten, ridiculed, and mocked. Jesus pressed on! Even when His closet friends left him and even denied knowing Him, He pressed on! Beloved keep the faith, fight the good fight, continue to stand, persevere the Promises of God are yes and Amen! I don't know your exact circumstance right now but I do know the love of our Fat...

3:16.....

Praise God! for "3:16" John, Luke, and Acts. " Love, Salvation, Eternal Life, Holy Ghost, and Healing."  We need more "3:16" experiences. John "3:16" NLT “For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. Luke "3:16" NLT John answered their questions by saying, “I baptize you with water; but someone is coming soon who is greater than I am—so much greater that I’m not even worthy to be his slave and untie the straps of his sandals. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire. Acts "3:16" NLT “Through faith in the name of Jesus, this man was healed—and you know how crippled he was before. Faith in Jesus’ name has healed him before your very eyes.
