Forgive one another!

Ephesians 4:31-32 NKJV Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you. Realizing and understanding the love, compassion, and forgiveness Jesus has and continues to have towards you should empower you to forgive others who have hurt you.  Forgiveness is a key principle for becoming free from anger. If you are dealing with anger, bitterness and frustration in your life. Remember the love, compassion, and forgiveness God has shown you.  Make a decision to forgive. Pray and ask God to empower you in your journey to freedom from anger, bitterness, and frustration. Forgiveness is a journey that requires effort, time, perseverance, and lots of prayer. Forgiveness is not easy but many things about the kingdom of God are difficult. Choose today to walk the narrow path of forgiveness and reap the benefit of life and peac...

Trust in the Lord!

The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; My God, my strength, in whom I will trust ; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. Psalms 18:2 Twelve things God will do for those who trust in Him. Psalms 18:28-36 For You will light my lamp; The Lord my God will enlighten my darkness. For by You I can run against a troop, By my God I can leap, over a wall. As  for God, His way is perfect; The word of the Lord is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him. For who is God, except the Lord ? And who is a rock, except our God? It  is God who arms me with strength, And makes my way perfect. He makes my feet like the feet  of deer, And sets me on my high places. He teaches my hands to make war, So that my arms can bend a bow of bronze. You have also given me the shield of Your salvation; Your right hand has held me up, Your gentleness has made me great. You enlarged my path under me, So my feet did not slip. Psalms 18:28‭-‬36 1. Bring li...

Five Ways to Experience Freedom in Suffering!

Five truths to help every believer find freedom in the suffering we face in our daily lives. 1. Don't be caught off guard with suffering. Don't be surprised with suffering. As long as we live in this mortal body we will experience suffering. We Christians we should Know that it is coming, but also be assured that Jesus has overcome this world. 1Peter 4:12-13 Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial (suffering) which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you; but rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ’s sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy. John 15:18-20 “If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you.  If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.  Remember the word that I said to you, ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If t...

Jesus is our ever present Savior

Matthew 1:21-23 And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus , for He will save His people from their sins .” So all this was done that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying: “Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel ,” which is translated, “ God with us .” Two simple reminders for you this Christmas. 1. Jesus came to rescue you from your sin. He came to destroy the power of sin over your life. If you find yourself weighed down with sin and the burdens of life this Christmas season. Come to Jesus in faith and ask Him to be your Savior and rescue you out of your sins.  You can be sure, He will save and rescue you. This is His purpose in coming to earth. 2. Immanuel God is with you. I know for many the Holidays can be a painful or depressing because they are reminded of loved ones who have passed. If this is you be encouraged that the Creator of heaven and ...
