Before we look at what the Bible says about giving to the poor. Let talk about some of the things we have said about giving to the poor. They are just lazy and should get a job. They should have made better decisions in life. Why did they allow themselves to get in this shape? They should stop smoking and drinking. They are just going to waste the money I give them. I am not here to debate on what we have said is true or false. The point of this post is to hear what the Word of God says about Giving to the Poor! We all have to wait, and if we are all honest most of the time we would prefer not to wait. Waiting on God many times will make you or break you. Some are good at waiting others not so good. Satan was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. The only way he can do any of this is through lies and deception. Almost every spiritual attack is against and for your faith. Christians face difficult circumstances all the time. Many times we can become weary and beat down from life. During difficult times and  times of being weary it is easy to become a  survivalist. This survivalist mentality causes us to begin to  just  go through the motions of Christianity. We can still look the part, talk the part, and do the part all the while we are falling apart on the inside.
