The Word of God is...

Hebrews 4:12 NLT For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires. God's Word is alive and powerful. Psalms 119:89 NLT Your eternal word, O  lord , stands firm in heaven. God's Word is settled. John 17:17 NLT Make them holy by your truth; teach them your word, which is truth. God's Word is truth and it will change those who hear and apply it in their lives. 1 John 2:5-6 NLT But those who obey God’s word truly show how completely they love him. That is how we know we are living in him. Those who say they live in God should live their lives as Jesus did. The Word of God is the measuring stick of whether we love God.

God calls us His Beloved!

God addresses His children many times in the Bible as beloved. I want to define beloved and look at seven passages and see what our great God and Saviour is saying to those He calls His beloved. Beloved- a much loved person, cherished, valued, and precious. Somebody ought to shout, right there because, God loves, cherishes, values and considers you precious. Romans 12:19-21 NKJV Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. Therefore “If your enemy is hungry, feed him; If he is thirsty, give him a drink; For in so doing you will heap coals of fire on his head.” Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. 1. God says to His dearly beloved, I got your back. Don't be concerned with your haters, or those who have spoken bad about you, or mistreated you. He then says, instead of trying to get even with them love them, pray for them, and bless them. I Corinthians 10:14 ...

Freedom in the midst of the fire

Daniel 3:25 He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God. When we are willing to go through the fire, Jesus will show up with an anointing to bring freedom and healing. Don't back down from the enemy of your soul. Be patient. Be bold. Be courageous. Keep on believing. Keep on standing. Jesus will show up and show out in the midst of your fire. Isaiah 43:2 When you pass through the waters, I (Jesus) will be with you; And through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched, Nor will the flame burn you. There is freedom in the fire to all those who continue to stand no matter the circumstances. No matter how hot the fire gets, no matter how desperate the circumstances, how raging the storm, DO NOT COMPROMISE YOUR FAITH STAND STRONG AND YOU WILL FIND FREEDOM IN THE MIDST OF YOUR FIRE! I would love to connect ...

Faith revealed through LOVE

Galatians 5:6 AMP For [if we are] in Christ Jesus, neither circumcision nor uncircumcision counts for anything, but only faith activated and energized and expressed and working through LOVE . John 13:35 AMP By this shall all [men] know that you are My disciples, if you LOVE one another [if you keep on showing LOVE among yourselves].

Parents need to be P.A.R.E.N.T.S

When my daughter was born I  vowed before God to be a P.A.R.E.N.T. as I believe the Word of God declares us to be. P. Pray- I will daily pray for my daughters salvation. And pray for wisdom in raising my daughter in a way that pleases God. The longer I am a parent from more I realize prayer is crucial in order to raise godly children. If you only remember one thing from this post remember the first letter of parent is p and p stands for prayer. We must pray for our children in Jesus name! A. Affirm- I will affirm my daughter in her gifts and abilities. I will affirm her in her inner and outer beauty. R. Reverence/ Respect- I will live my life as an example on how to reverence God and authority. I will teach my child respect through how I respect, love and honor her mother. E. Encourage- I will encourage my daughter through the Word of God to know who she is in Christ Jesus, and through Him she can do all things. N. Nurture- I will nurture, love, and provide fo...

Going to the Next Level in the New Year!

Being satisfied and comfortable in our current state (in our personal life, marriage, career or ministry) is our greatest enemy of going to the next level in the new year. We must BY FAITH get out of our comfort zone. Pray and Go in Jesus name! When we become satisfied and comfortable with the norm many times we  lose our fire, passion and creativity. We must begin desperately and intentionally going after Jesus the One who baptizes with the Holy Ghost and fire. We become professional critics, judgemental, and begin drifting away from the things of God when we lose our passion and fire for God. When we step out of our comfort zone and begin pressing into the things of God. Jesus will exchange our critical, judgemental, drifting spirit for a anointed, power and passion filled Spirit. Philippians 3:12-14 Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. Brethren, ...
